TEST-RUN.

This a test-run of a blog that I'd like to try out. It’s coming out of inspiration from my mom whose blog came to the attention of my wife and I recently. I realized that there’s thousands of photos that I have that won’t really see the light of day. There’s either nowhere to post them or there’s nowhere to fit them in where they could be utilized on my broader portfolio. To the extent that they do exist anywhere, it’s within disorganized and chaotic Google Drives that get sent out and eventually lost inside of group chats and text threads.

I still want these photos to breathe and have a public face to them, though. So this is my experiment. And I’m actually very excited to start this little side-project alongside my wife, Lili, who is going to be sorting out her daily life on Substack.

I’ll start here and move around through all of these photos in a relatively non-linear fashion… Until I catch up with the present, that is. Right now, I’ll begin with this past weekend. I spent yesterday on the California State University, Northridge campus attending my first Journalism Association of Community Colleges.

I’m still working out how to use this, so I’ll put the photos up in the next post.
